Individual drills include Coil and Front, Seat Net and Penetrate Low, Individual Footwork Patterns. Tactical drills include fronting the hitter and release blocking. Situational drills emphasize game occurrences: blocking tight sets to opponent’s hitter, over-pass blocking, blocking high middle attacks and crossing patterns, blocking the slide attack and what to do when unable to close a block.
